Subsequently, we will head to the picturesque Jinsuo Island and stroll among historical buildings, feeling the tranquility and peace. Next, we will continue to visit Chongsheng Temple, which is famous for its iconic three towers. Among these three towers, the main tower stands tall at 69.13 meters, towering and towering, with two smaller towers on either side, together creating a spectacular scene.
Surprisingly, these pagodas were first built during the Nanzhao period (738-902 AD) and have gone through thousands of years of vicissitudes, still standing firm. The tower houses numerous precious cultural relics and Buddha statues, which are the result of devout worship by believers throughout history. Today, they are showcased to the world, allowing us to glimpse the brilliant brilliance of ancient Buddhist culture.
In the last time of Dali Old City, we will end our day of exploration in a relaxed and joyful way. The fourth day: Dali Lijiang
Visit Xizhou Town, the ancestral home of the Bai ethnic group, and experience the local customs of Dali. Immersed in the bustling atmosphere of Xizhou Market, we celebrate shopping, seafood, and local specialties with local residents. Here, the flow of time seems to become quiet and stagnant, and many scenes are like yesterday. Bai women still wear colorful traditional costumes, and many families still live in residential areas that showcase the characteristics of the Bai ethnic group. Strolling through the classical layout of Yan's mansion, feel the eternal charm of Xizhou's glorious history.
Subsequently, we visited Zhoucheng, which is the largest village among the Bai ethnic group. Zhoucheng has preserved its traditional folk customs and authentic way of life, especially its famous and exquisite tie dyeing techniques.
Next, take a car to Lijiang and catch a glimpse of the picturesque Black Dragon Pool Park. The ancient temples, towers, pavilions, and stone tablets complement the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, reflecting on the calm lake surface. Visit the Dongba Cultural Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage of the local Naxi ethnic group. The museum displays over 12000 precious cultural relics.
Finally, climb Lion Rock and enjoy the five story Wangu Pavilion. This architectural style is quaint, featuring exquisite arches, roof beams, balconies, tiled roofs, and sculptures representing 23 ethnic groups. There are 10000 lifelike dragon carvings on the wall. Standing at the top of the pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of the ancient town, especially at sunset, the beautiful scenery is intoxicating. Lijiang is a truly amazing place, where time seems to stagnate like another world. As night falls, stay at the hotel and enjoy a peaceful night.

Day 5: One day tour to Lijiang
After breakfast, set off to the cultural holy land of Naxi, Yulong Snow Mountain, which is renowned for its magnificent mountains, plateaus, glaciers, ice waterfalls, and forests. Here, you will witness the perfect integration of modern art with traditional music and culture. Appreciate the wonderful performance "Impression of Lijiang" directed by renowned director Zhang Yimou at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Olympic Games. The drama is staged in an open-air theater set against the backdrop of Yulong Snow Mountain, consisting of 10 ethnic groups, about 400 actors, and 100 horses. It sincerely tells the legends and stories of Naxi traditional culture, presenting an interesting spectacle. After the performance, take the cable car to the Spruce Plateau, which is a vast grassland located in the primitive spruce forest, shrouded in clouds and mist. Undoubtedly, this breathtaking rural scenery composed of spruce, plateau, pine trees, and clouds will be regarded by many as a fairyland on earth. The charming scenery of the surrounding snow capped mountains adds color to the entire picture. Overlooking the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from afar, it looks like a white giant dragon perching on the clouds, hence its name. After arriving in Baisha Village, you will have the opportunity to experience the local Bai ethnic life in a more peaceful and comfortable way. Here, you will enjoy unique cultural characteristics, precious historical relics, especially the unique white sand murals. The same mural showcases different religions, including Buddhism, Taoism, and even Lamaism, making it an important cultural relic for studying Chinese art and religious history. After a day of exploration, return to Lijiang Hotel and end on a relaxed night.
Day 6: Lijiang - Jumping Tiger Gorge - Lijiang
Facing a delicious breakfast, gather strength for the upcoming journey, which will take a 3-hour (total of 100 kilometers) drive to the magnificent Tiger Leaping Gorge. On the way, we will stop at the first bay of the Yangtze River, which is a landmark geographical node. The source of the Yangtze River turns rapidly 90 degrees here, and the flow velocity can be slowed down. Amazingly, you will witness how the river flows during its widening process. The picturesque peaks, terraced fields, and countryside surrounding this beautiful painting are embellished.
In the afternoon, we will delve deeper into the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The canyon has a unique landform, formed by the intersection of steep ridges with an altitude of over 3900 meters on both sides, squeezing the water flow of the Jinsha River into narrow gaps, causing vortex and thunder, and turbulent water flow. Along the paved path, you can immerse yourself, listen to and experience the spectacular scene of the rushing rocks, or stand on the observation deck and gaze at the rushing rapids in the mountains. This is a rare natural wonder in one's life.
After the tour, we will return to Lijiang and have the opportunity to visit Zhiyun Temple and appreciate the mysterious Sanskrit stone tablets. This is a temple that blends the architectural styles of Han, Tibetan, Bai, and Naxi ethnic groups. Zhiyun Temple was first built in the ninth year of the Yongzheng reign (1727) and is renowned for its mysterious legends and charming scenery. Step into the courtyard of the temple and stroll among five ancient trees that are two to three hundred years old, adding color to the architecture overlooking the lake. After the tour, return to the hotel and end today's itinerary. While tasting local cuisine, you can take a stroll on the streets, relax to your heart's content, or enjoy the beauty of the night in Lijiang.
